TOUR ITINERARY

Friday - *** / Johannesburg
Your self-drive tour starts with your departure for Johannesburg. Dinner and overnight on-board.

Saturday - Johannesburg
Upon arrival to Johannesburg you will collect your rented car, that may be equipped with a mobile phone and a GPS navigation system.  Accommodation at The Don Eastgate Hotel in a self-catering apartment. The rest of the day is at your disposal to visit Eastgate Mall, a large nearby shopping complex. Overnight.

Sunday - Johannesburg / Mount Everest Game lodge
Depart for Mount Everest Game Lodge, near to Harrismith, where you'll find quaint rustic-style self-catering accommodation. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this picturesque Nature Reserve on foot. Overnight.

Monday - Mount Everest / Durban
Depart for Durban. You will arrive at your destination in the late morning. You may wish to spend the rest of the day walking along the splendid Marine Parade, and a visit to uShaka Marine World. In the last afternoon leave to Umhlanga Rocks, a popular seaside resort just a few kilometers from Durban. Check-in to your self-catering apartment at Fleetwood on Sea, a charming location on the coast of the Indian Ocean. Overnight.

Tuesday - Durban / St. Lucia
Departure in the morning for Shakaland Cultural Village. Enjoy a traditional lunch and tribal dances. Leave in the afternoon for St. Lucia and check-in to your self-catering accommodation at Hippo Hideaway. Overnight.

Wednesday - St. Lucia
Self-drive visit to the Cape Vidal Nature Reserve and it's splendid beach. In the afternoon you may wish participate in an optional cruise on the famous St. Lucia Lagoon, a place recognised as a World Heritage Site. Overnight.

Thursday - St. Lucia / Hluhluwe National Park
Departure in the morning for Hluhluwe National Park. Accommodation at Hilltop Camp. The rest of the day will be dedicated to exploring the beautiful Park, which is 96 000 hectares in size and includes the two oldest Nature Reserves in South Africa, dating back since 1895. Overnight.

Friday - Hluhluwe National Park / Swaziland
Departure for the nearby kingdom of Swaziland. Optional visit to the Hlane Nature Reserve. Accommodation at Simunye Country Club. Overnight.

Saturday - Swaziland / Kruger National Park
Leave Swaziland and visit the southern part of the Kruger National Park. Accommodation at the Numbi Hotel of Hazyview. Overnight.

Sunday - Kruber National Park / Phalaborwa
Today is completely dedicated to visiting the central part of the Kruger National Park. In the lat afternoon you will arrive at Phalaborwa, a quaint little town bordering the Kruger Park. Overnight at Masorini Lodge in a self-catering chalet.

Monday - Phalaborwa
Today is completely dedicated to visiting the northern part of the Kruger National Park. Overnight.

Tuesday - Phalaborwa
Today you have the morning free to relax or to participate in one of the many optional activities. In the afternoon you will enjoy a beautiful cruise on the Olifants River, rich in wildlife including crocodiles and hippos. Overnight.

Wednesday - Phalaborwa / Edeni Private Game Reserve
Departure to Edeni Private Game Reserve. After lunch, take part in an exciting safari in an open-top off-road vehicle. Dinner and overnight at Edeni Hoyo Hoyo Bush Lodge.

Thursday - Edeni Private Game Reserve
In the early morning, participate in a photographic safari in an open-top off-road vehicle. After breakfast, you'll have some time to relax. After lunch, a second photographic safari is arranged. Dinner and overnight.

Friday - Edeni Private Game Reserve / Johannesburg
In the early morning, participate in a photographic safari in an open-top off-road vehicle. After breakfast, departure for Johannesburg via the spectacular "Panorama Route." Be sure to visit the "Three Rondavels," Blyde Rive Canyon, "Bourke's Luck Potholes," and the historic village Pilgrim's Rest along the way. Accommodation at the elegant Airport Grand Hotel, where you will return the rental vehicle. Dinner and overnight.

Saturday - Johannesburg / ***
After breakfast, you may use your remaining free time for any optional activites before your transfer to the airport for your return flight.
